AYNI NETWORK
TODAY FOR YOU
In Northwest Arkansas, small-scale farming can feel deeply isolating. Long hours, physical demands, and systemic pressures create real challenges. Guided by the Quechua spirit of Ayni—meaning 'today for you, tomorrow for me'—we are weaving a mobile, bilingual mutual-aid network that rotates across local farms to share labor, tools, and heavy loads so no farmer stands alone.

HOW WE WEAVE
We cultivate a resilient foodshed by rotating support days across regional farms. From Treehouse Pantry to CAFF, we show up to lift heavy burdens, build soil, and share meals. Our bilingual network brings Spanish and English speakers together to co-create sustainable

CORE PILLARS
We stand on four essential pillars: Local commitment to the Northwest Arkansas foodshed; Welcoming, zero-pressure spaces with free local food; Mutual 'Offer and Ask' systems ensuring everyone gives and receives; and Continuous monthly gatherings and farm-sitting initiatives that slowly build lifelong communal trust.
Last spring, sudden freezing weather threatened our entire seedling crop. Within hours, the Ayni network mobilized. Eight neighbors arrived at Cobblestone Farm, helping us secure the prop houses and exchange vital row covers. What could have been a disaster became a celebration of solidarity.
